Full Postcode Points. All current GB postcodes with 100m grid references. Optional fields: Postcode Type (large user, non-residential, mixed, residential), delivery point count and Census Output Area code. We also supply a "historic" list of 2.1 million postcodes – including many that are no longer valid.

Multiple Retailers. Branches of your chosen multiple retailer(s) or retail sector(s) from the 200,000-strong Retail Locations database. Everything from Post Offices to supermarkets and petrol stations; from clothing shops and pubs to restaurants and travel agents. Data: retailer name, fascia, holding company or group, locality, PostTown, postcode and grid reference.

Business Places. For any required industrial sector – metal manufacturing, retail pharmacists or a specific SIC code – we can supply Market Location’s list of all documented business locations. Data: name, address, Postcode, Grid Reference, SIC Code, Size Band etc.

Education. Databases of GB schools, colleges & universities. 30,000+ primary, middle & secondary schools. 6,000+ college & university sites – with separate records for departments, faculty buildings etc. Data: establishment name, address, postcode and grid reference.

Shopping Centres. 3,000+ shopping centres, with coded floorspace where known. Retail parks & Factory Outlets are identified separately. Data: name, address, postcode and grid reference.

Tourist Attractions. Covering 5,000+ GB tourist attractions. Data includes name, address, postcode, grid reference, and categories (where present) for attraction type and visitor numbers.

Railway Stations. 3,000+ railway stations, including London Underground, Docklands Light Railway, and West Midlands, Manchester, Newcastle & Glasgow metros. Data: name and grid reference only.

Airports. All the major GB airports plus lots of minor airports are included.

Sports Venues. 700+ major sporting venues and thousands of minor ones – football, rugby, cricket, racing, athletics, golf etc. Data: name, address, postcode, grid reference, and sport type.

Motorway Junctions. Nerd’s delight, with 650+ motorway junction names and grid references

Placename Gazetteer. A grid-referenced file of c2,000 town and cities in Great Britain, useful for software “jump to” and “find” functions, and as placename labels on maps.

Census: 2001 figures for population & households split every which way. Our master database includes 400+ variables, so telling us what you want is quicker that asking what we’ve got!

MOSAIC: Experian’s updated totals for population, households, and adults (15+ and 18+) split into 11 top-level Groups and 61 detailed MOSAIC Types. SPA also offers MOSAIC for children (subtracting MOSAIC adults 15+ from MOSAIC population) – great for child-centred analysis.

Multiple Retailers: Retail Locations outlet counts split by Type (comparison, convenience, service), Sector (fashion, fast food, fuel etc.) or even trading name. Just tell us what you need.

Workplace & Employment Data: Market Location’s counts of workplaces & numbers employed. Data available by size (number of employees), and industry (2- or 4-digit SICs). Employment totals include SPA’s estimates of the numbers employed at each site with no researched figure.

Census Output Areas (OAs) – splitting the UK into 230,000 tiny areas (not available for all data)

Postcode Sectors – dividing the UK into 9,000+ areas (11,000+ including non-geographic ones)

Postcode Districts – larger with 2,800+ in the UK (nearly 3,000 including non-geographics)

Postcode Areas – the top tier splitting the UK into just 121 Areas (122 including GI Giro)

SPA Areas – dividing GB into 1,214 shopping catchments, 129 Districts, and 11 top-tier Regions.
